As far as I can remember, I have always had a love for the visual arts, attracted to beauty, to things unusual, interesting and unique.
I love people. Observing how they each carry themselves in this world, interests me. When photographing them, I like to capture the magical moments between the person who is being photographed and the camera. I love to watch them become more comfortable in front of the camera, and just be themselves. It is a transformation.
When I take photos of animals, I spend a lot of time with them, being around them. I am looking for the moment when we make a good connection. Capturing that connection, sharing the story that lead to it and the photos, in a lively, beautiful and funny way is what I love to do. It takes patience and it takes time.
